Equal parts traditional, lake house, eclectic whimsey, escape and new york cool, bellport house is just where you want to be in the height of summer or well, in the middle of winter. nothing is expected and yet everything is perfectly where it is supposed to be; the art is not lost on me. it’s a fine line to walk and ERA does it with grace and the quintessential tension between laid back and buttoned-up. it’s these intersections in expression that designers often strive for and it’s executed so perfectly imperfect here that the result is just perfect.
